It’s not every day you get to celebrate the 2nd year anniversary of a business you built from the ground up. This is a momentous occasion! Exactly 2 years ago today, the business entity known as Brand Scrubbers came into being. To celebrate – I wrote you a song.

It’s not any song either, it’s a Brand Scrubbers remix to one of my favorite songs for Disney’s Moana. Without further delay, click below to have a listen to our special song, dedicated to our clients, fan, friends and family.

(Spoof of original by Jordan Fisher ft. Lin Manuel Miranda)

You’re Welcome! (Lyrics)

Ok, ok, I see what’s happening here
You’re faced with a new business, and it’s strange
You don’t even know how you feel
It’s adorable!
Well, it’s nice to see biz owners never change
Open your eyes, let’s begin
Yes, it’s really me, Sassy: breathe it in!
I know it’s a lot: the hair, the blog!
When you’re hearing all the dialogue

(chorus)

What can we say except you’re welcome
For the sites, the fun, the high
Hey, it’s okay, it’s okay
You’re welcome
I just hate to see a biz owner cry

(chorus)

So what can I say except you’re welcome
For the clients we do stuff for free
There’s no need to pay, it’s okay
You’re welcome!
Ha, I guess it’s just my way of being me
You’re welcome!
You’re welcome!

Well, come to think of it
and, honestly I can go on and on
I can explain every social phenomenon
The site, the blogs, the sounds, oh
That was Sassy just messing around
I named my biz
I dressed it up
I charge a fee that you can’t undercut
What’s the lesson
What is the take-away
Don’t mess with Sassy when she’s got the right of way
And the tapestry here on my skin
Is a map of the places I’ve been
Look what I’ve done
I make everything happen
Look at that Sass typing tippity-tappin’

(chorus)

Well, anyway let me say you’re welcome
For teaching you all that you know
Hey, it’s okay, it’s okay
You’re welcome!
For auditing your site’s SEO
Hey, it’s your day to say you’re welcome
‘Cause that’s how we’re going to grow
I’m smiling away, away
You’re welcome!
Just ring me and I’ll give you a quote.
You’re welcome!
You’re welcome!
And thank you!
